On March 27, Ninestar helped deliver 21,910 books to 313 rural primary schools in towns and villages in Tanghe County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, China.

70 books were bundled into a “book corner” and given to each of the 313 schools as an initiative of the company’s "Ninestar Angel of Love Charity Program," which is conducted in conjunction with the Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF). The book corner gifts are a part of Ninestar’s long-term strategy and commitment to social responsibility.

Guo Yang, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation, Zeng Fanchun, Vice President of the Nanyang Charity Federation, and Yu Yiding, the Public Welfare Representative of Ninestar, participated in the book corner handover activities. They visited the First Central Primary School in Qiyi Town, Tanghe County, to inspect the newly constructed book corners and discuss the project and the books with teachers and the children.

The 70 books in each book corner include a range of fiction and nonfiction resources covering the sciences, history, civic and social responsibility, fairy tales, and poetry. This endeavor will help meet the reading needs and interests of children in rural areas and enable them to acquire knowledge, wisdom, and moral values through the pleasure of extensive reading.

During the event, Ms. Bai Xuejing, Deputy Editor of China Children's Press & Publication Group, spoke to the children attending the First Central Primary School on “The Benefits Reading Can Bring to Children,” further fueling their interest in reading.

The "Ninestar Angel of Love Charity Program," funded by the Ninestar Corporation and established by the CRCF, endeavors to carry out public welfare projects in education, disease and health interventions, and environmental protection.

In September 2022, Ninestar Corporation donated RMB 20 million (US$2.87 million) to CRCF's “Ninestar Angel of Love Program.” Ninestar has worked closely with the charity for over 15 years and continues contributing to those in need. The 2022 multi-million donation supported critical illness relief, health intervention, study aid, environmental protection, and other philanthropic activities.
